Gene Benoit, Critical Care Paramedic, died by suicide July 4, 2021. 

Gene was a rock-solid medic, a mentor, a thinker, a Dad, and a Rush fan.

I consider myself fortunate to have worked with him.

Gene was one of the frontline story reviewers for Siren Call.

Though not without his troubles, Gene gave to his colleagues and the public in great measure.

He will be missed.
